About Our Company

Three generations of builders who show up like it's their own home.

How This Started

Gordon started this business because he got tired of watching contractors treat homes like transaction lines in a ledger. A job was a job—finish it, move on, don't think about whether the homeowner felt confident in the work. He knew there had to be a different way, one where you actually cared whether someone was comfortable in their own space.

Gareth grew up watching his father do this work right. He learned that a straight wall matters, that details get noticed even when they're hidden, and that the relationship doesn't end when the final invoice is paid. When Gareth stepped in, he brought his own sons into the work—not because there was a script to follow, but because the principles were simple enough to live by: be honest, show craftsmanship, and treat people like neighbors, not contracts.

Those early years taught us what matters. We've seen what happens when corners get cut. We've also seen what happens when someone actually takes pride in the work—families feel it. Clients remember it. That's what kept us going through the lean times and what guides every decision we make now.

'We got into this to build things that matter. Things that hold up. Things that make people feel secure in their homes.'

— Gareth, Third Generation

What Three Generations Taught Us

Honesty isn't a marketing angle for us—it's how we stay in business. Early on, we learned that telling a client 'we can't fix this right' costs less in the long run than doing sloppy work and hoping no one notices. When we see something that won't hold, we say so. When a project will take longer than expected, we tell you why and what it means. This approach weeds out the clients who want cheap quick fixes, but it builds relationships with people who actually want their homes done right.

Customer service to us means answering your calls, showing up when we say we will, and cleaning up our mess before we leave. We're licensed and insured because we understand you're trusting us with something that matters. That responsibility isn't something we take lightly. We've had clients call us back years later with questions, and we answer them. Because the job doesn't end on the last day—it ends when you feel confident everything was done right.

Craftsmanship is the thread connecting all three generations. It means you see straight lines, solid joints, and finishes that don't look rushed. It means the things you can't see—the foundation work, the framing details, the connections—get the same attention as everything you do see. We've learned this doesn't cost more; it costs less when you're not fixing problems later.

How We Work

Working with us means you get people who treat your home like we'd treat our own. You'll notice we show up on time, communicate clearly about what's happening, and ask questions instead of making assumptions. We keep our work sites clean and organized. We respect your space and your time. When something comes up that's different from the plan, we talk it through with you first.

If you're looking for general contracting from people who actually care about the outcome, who stand behind their work, and who believe that building right matters more than building fast, we'd like to hear from you. Call us to talk about what you're building.
